St. George’s IRS (Lytton)

1901-1979
Operated by Anglican Church

Began as an Anglican Mission and school in 1901. Sanitation, fire safety and overcrowding problems reported, with influenza epidemic reported in 1926-27 leading to the death of 13 children. In 1993 a former employee plead guilty of sexual abuse of students.
